Mulu Catalog 2024: Mulu Magazine promotional video
Mulu Magazine is a multidisciplinary piece that contains a promotional video, an artist collective magazine, and augmented reality (AR) by Meiting Song. The video uses mostly 2D animation, some 3D animation, as well as live- action videos as background elements. The video imitates the process of creating a magazine by presenting it in a game-style animation. The magazine contains works and interviews from 5 artists, along with some physical interactive games and AR effects. The AR effects will bridge the gap between digital and physical artworks, allowing audiences to engage with both digital devices and on paper. The concepts in this work revolve around preserving the traditional within new media art and offering audiences a means to adapt to the rapid pace of modern technology.

Garden
By animating a loopdeloop about a little accident that happened in a garden, I show the magic of the life cycle through simple shapes and vivid colors.
INTP/ISTP MBTI captchas
The MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator) test has become widely popular, with people using the 16 personality types as conversation starters and to explore social dynamics. While this categorization offers certain benefits—like helping people understand themselves and others—it also leads to oversimplified stereotypes, much like how zodiac signs or blood types are used to define personalities.
In my project, I’ve chosen to focus on two MBTI types: INTP and ISTP. By using the common stereotypes surrounding these types, I aim to create CAPTCHA-like designs that visually represent the exaggerated characteristics often associated with these personalities.
